ASC meets the WA Jazz Project

Thursday 14 May 2026

Join the three All Saints' College jazz ensembles, Swingin' Saints, Funky Saints and Jazz Saints for a night of eclectic & captivating improvised music alongside Western Australia's flagship large jazz ensemble - the WA Jazz Project.

With music drawn from the early swing era and Great American Songbook (Just Friends, On the Sunny Side of the Street) through to the choppy, funk-inspired music of Jacob Mann (Kogi) - the night will take audience members on a sonic tour of the jazz artform.

About the WA Jazz Project:

The WA Jazz Project exists to represent the state’s rich culture of jazz across Western Australian stages and communities, hailed by His Excellency, the Governor of Western Australia as one of the state’s elite arts companies alongside the WA Opera and WA Ballet. It all began with an idea to activate the Perth Concert Hall as a venue for jazz in Western Australia. It transformed into a vision to enrich and expand jazz in Western Australia, and establish an ensemble that builds upon the rich legacy of jazz in the state – a flagship for excellence in jazz music in Western Australia.
